Vosne-Romanée名莊名園滿佈，而除了DRC外，當中名氣最大的，當屬當年的叱吒風雲的Gros家族。 Gros家族酒莊於1951年由老老莊主Louis Gros成立，並迅速累積的極好的口碑。Louis過世之時，將累積的家業一分為四，小兒子 François Gros 從老爸Louis那邊繼承來葡萄園後，成立了François Gros酒莊，並在1988年開始，便開始手把手地將酒莊工作漸漸傳授給自己的前世情人－Anne Gros
勃艮地以葡萄來源的地塊將酒分為廣域/村莊/一級/特級，十分容易學習；然而，稍微深入探索後，你就會發現小農滿布，且強調地塊與釀造者的傳統，延伸出了無數的排列組合。一些勃根地的大名（e.g. Jouis Jadot），每年生產的品項就有上百款，十分可觀。
Anne Gros的作品，最難得的地方在於平衡。它每年的酒商酒 (Maison Wine) 會因為契作的狀態有所不同，但最厲害的酒莊酒 (Domaine Wine)，目前只有9款，而且你很難在一般地方見到它們，通常在預購階段，就已經被秒殺了。廣域級Anne Gros的廣域級有紅白各兩款，雖然僅僅是廣域級，但稀有程度不下村莊與特級園，偶爾享譽上一次都不是很容易。

Mid garnet. Very heady and gorgeous on the nose. Almost DRC-like. Masses of sweet gorgeous fruit with both acidity and very fine tannins. Irresistible! Playful and totally hedonistic, though not remotely heavy. Violets and something of the forest about it. Surely it will become more complex but it would give pleasure already. Long. Was heavily reduced, apparently. Great lift.
Fine imperial purple, with wonderful ripe but balanced fruit suffusing the palate, a ball of ripe raspberry, just the right oaking, just enough acidity, tannins helping the structure but in low key, and all the persistence you could possibly hope for.
A treat. Anne Gros owns 0.6ha of old vines in Richebourg, most of it in Les Véroilles . The fruit is completely destemmed prior to fermentation, and Gros relates that the Richebourg grapes are sturdy enough to continue punching down longer than other parcels. The firm extraction yields a wine of marvellous density, but not one that is lacking the Anne Gros trademark of velvety, unctuous fruit. A superb wine capable of decades of cellaring if desired.
There is still relatively prominent wood framing the dense and wonderfully spicy black pinot fruit and ripe cherry-suffused nose. The big-bodied and solidly well-concentrated flavors display plenty of verve and power along with really lovely complexity on the velvety yet still quite firm finish that delivers outstanding length. As impressive as this is, and it certainly is impressive, it's not really my style in that the wood is a bit too evident for my taste; that said, this is high-quality effort that is still on the way up and while it could certainly be enjoyed now with pleasure I would advise allowing it another 5 or so years of cellar time first. Tasted twice recently with largely consistent results.
